On Sunday 3rd May Cheshire Sports Therapy (CST) continued their support of the All Star Charity XI. They were on hand to provide the medical assistance to the record breaking squad. Last year the team raised nearly 20,000 when they played 5 games in 48 hours. The challenge wasn't as simple as that. The gruelling challenge was for them to embark on a 5 nation's tour in those 48 hours, aiming to play a full charity football game in all of the 5 nations. Again CST were on hand to get the weary legs ready for each kick-off as they went travelling by road and by ferry, covering Scotland, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland,Wales and England. The official time the team completed the challenge in was 45 hours 52 mins and 16 secs.

This years event saw the charity elect take on Crewe Alex Ladies, Signal 1 FC, Liverpool Legends, Man Utd Legends and a North-West XI. Despite a rainy start to the day the squad were again able to raise plenty of funds for 5 charitable causes as chosen by each match sponsor. Michelle and Dali were both on hand and able to get the squad through all 5 games allowing them to set a new record as recognised by the Cheshire FA. Check out the pictures below.
